Low-voltage safety testers
Multi‑function instruments compliant with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD): dielectric strength, insulation and protective‑earth continuity.
What is an electrical safety tester used for?
An electrical safety tester is a multifunction device that performs the electrical tests required by the main standards covered by the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), in compliance with various international regulations (EN, NF, UL, IEC, CSA, VDE...). What tests can an LVD electrical safety tester perform? LVD safety testers can carry out the following three tests, either individually or as part of a test sequence: - Protective earth continuity test - Dielectric strength test - Insulation test (insulation resistance measurement)
