Insulating materials, such as energy transport cables, must be characterized after manufacturing to prevent accidents, fires, or critical failures. Each insulating material has specific properties: dielectric strength, permittivity, high‑voltage behavior, and thermal stability. Sefelec's tests allows manufacturers to validate compliance with sector standards (IEC 60243, IEC 60093). Two types of tests offered for this kind of application: High‑voltage generation (50 kV DC ±) Leakage current measurement from 20 mA to 0.5 pA
