Cooper Industries acquires Martek Power
I am pleased to inform you that Cooper Industries, through its Cooper Bussmann division, has acquired all entities of the Martek Power Group, including Sefelec, effective July 28th, 2011.
This transaction, fully supported by the Martek Power Group management team, ensures strong and active support of our product development and global business growth plans.

Cooper Bussmann is committed to the development, manufacturing and marketing of innovative circuit and power electronics protection and power management products, including high reliability power conversion equipment. Cooper Bussmann and Martek will benefit from the merger of their respective engineering, operational, and commercial expertise to enhance the combined power management product portfolio and global reach.
Didier Delacourt, President of Sefelec, will continue in his position with an expanded role, and your usual Sefelec contacts remain in place.
