MARTEK POWER purchases SEMELEC company

With more than 37 years of existence, SEMELEC Company became one of the major actors on the French market for metrology, calibration and maintenance of test & measurement equipments.

His founder and leader Patrick LELONG wishing to retire, chose the group MARTEK POWER (turn over : 70M€), specialist in the conversion of energy and test & measurement instruments, to develop and perpetuate his company and experience.

SEMELEC presents a strong complementarity to SEFELEC services, subsidiary of MARTEK POWER, European leader of electric safety testing and cable testing.

This new organization (turn over : 11M€) is now able to offer on the French market but also on the European markets, a global solution of test & measurement equipments, COFRAC certified, in the area of Electricity-Magnetism since 1988 and in the area of Time-Frequency since 1994.

The association of the maintenance and calibration activities of SEFELEC and SEMELEC should quickly progress by taking advantage of the strong commercial presence of SEFELEC in France and in Europe.
